Vision plans & Insurances

A vision or insurance plan is not a prerequisite to be seen at our office. Please see below for the plans we are in-network with.

vision plans:

Often attached to your medical plan electively. If unsure check the back of your card as often they are written there.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network through employment through Univ. of Michigan often has a special “embedded” vision exam coverage

    • Please bring proof of eligibility to utilize your plan which can be a printout from bcbsm.com website or screenshot

  • Cigna Vision (most plans)

  • Eyemed

  • MetLifeVision (some plans)

  • Spectera

  • UHC Vision (most plans)

  • VSP

Medical Plans:

  • We are unfortunately pausing accepting all medical plans without an attached vision plan for which certain types of eye exams . (This includes BCBS, BCN, except for BCBS and BCN through U of M), and Medicare at this time due to the time it currently takes for us to file claims and rejection rate for technical items that vary between plans which makes this process extremely time consuming

  • We are currently in the process of looking into an easier way to file these claims and will hopefully be able to accept them again soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.
